Our vision is for every child to have access to the emotional knowledge, practical tools and supportive relationships they need to thrive.

Through Mind Crew, we aim to equip schools to provide meaningful preventative and early support, helping children understand themselves, express their feelings, build positive connections and approach life's challenges with confidence and resilience.

We believe that by introducing these essential life skills during childhood, we can help build strong emotional foundations, supporting children before difficulties become overwhelming and potentially reducing the need for more intensive support later in life.

By making psychological learning accessible, engaging and memorable, we hope to help create a future in which children feel understood, supported and equipped with tools they can carry with them throughout their lives.

Meet the Creator

Clair Anthony is an experienced Psychotherapist and Counsellor with a degree in Psychology and over 20 years of experience in private practice.

She specialises in Advanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and is also trained in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), a therapeutic approach used to help people process trauma and distressing experiences.

Clair also holds qualifications in Play Therapy and Art Coaching, which she incorporates into her therapeutic work with children, using creative and age-appropriate approaches to help them explore their emotions, express themselves and develop greater self-understanding.

Her combination of psychological knowledge, therapeutic expertise and practical experience working with children provides the professional foundation upon which Mind Crew has been developed.

Experience

Throughout her career, Clair has supported children, teenagers, adults, couples and families experiencing challenges including anxiety, relationship difficulties, conflict and loss. She has seen first-hand the growing need for children’s mental health support, as well as the difficulties many children and families experience when trying to access timely, appropriate help.

These experiences, along with her practical knowledge of working with KS2-aged children in schools, inspired Clair to create Mind Crew.

At the heart of Mind Crew is the belief that prevention and early intervention can make a lasting difference. Through her therapeutic work, Clair has recognised that many of the children she supports are experiencing similar emotional and social challenges, often without having had the opportunity to develop the skills needed to manage them. Rather than waiting until these difficulties become overwhelming and individual therapy may be needed, Mind Crew aims to equip children with essential emotional and psychological tools at an earlier stage. By helping children build self-awareness, emotional regulation, resilience, confidence and healthy relationships, the programme seeks to establish strong foundations that children can draw upon throughout their lives.

Mind Crew translates psychological principles and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques into practical, age-appropriate activities that children can understand, remember and use in everyday life.

Clair's aim is to provide schools with an engaging, thoughtfully designed preventative wellbeing programme that gives children the knowledge, skills and confidence to navigate life's challenges, both now and in the future.
